Dream Plumbing and Gas provide a range of plumbing and gas services for a wide variety of customers. Our clients include residential, commercial, business, sporting, schools, day care centres, churches and corporate / strata and real estate.
Our services include general plumbing maintenance, strata maintenance plumbing, hot water, gas plumbing all with24-hour emergency call outs. We’ll be there for any emergencies, from leaks and flooding, burst and broken pipes, to stormwater runoff and gas leaks. We regularly service blocked drains, utlizing High Pressure Jetting and CCTV drain camera inspections. Our services also include hot water repairs, leaking taps or toilets, gas, electric or solar hot water system servicing. Dream Plumbing also delivers gas fitting and installations, kitchen, laundry and bathroom plumbing and renovations. Included in our services are roof repairs, guttering, rainwater tanks and irrigation. We provide solar hot water heat pumps and assist the community in understanding government rebates. We’ll help you to understand the benefits of installing solar along with rain tank solutions. Note: rainwater is a great way to safeguard you against bushfire emergencies.
Born and raised in the Bushland Shire, Benjamin Soutter began as a sole trader in 2015 purchasing the name ‘Dream Plumbing and Gas’. He worked out of a workmate’s ute, after having been employed as a plumbing tradesman for other companies for several years. They were humble beginnings, but Ben had bigger dreams than just the name. He wanted to do things differently. In fact, Ben had a vision for creating a plumbing service that served the local community by offering multiple upfront options rather than a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude. Consequently, he has always allowed for freedom of choice and thinking outside the box. He envisaged creating relationships based on trust that lasted – much like a mechanic or a doctor becomes your trusted source for their expertise.
Ben decided to expand his services and purchased his first Isuzu truck in 2016. In 2017 he began to build a client base and employed his first apprentice, encouraging and supporting him through the remainder of his apprenticeship.
In 2018 he married his high-school sweetheart Laura, hired his first tradesman and first year apprentice, drawing on everything he wanted to impart from his own experiences and investing time and patience into developing these young men as they built the Dream model together.
“I value the time I spent as an apprentice myself, learning so much, I wanted to support my own apprentices, giving them the best opportunity in starting their plumbing careers. Since my first apprentice employee, we have had six apprentices working with us, four of whom are now tradesmen, and two that are still working through their apprenticeships.”
Ben believes every member of the Dream Team will treat the customer’s home as they would their own family’s, and speak to them accordingly. Attitude is so important when it comes to tradies in the service industry and it is not something we take lightly.

They currently have four fully stocked, operational vehicles on the road and a team of eight employees.
